In April I submitted this image to an exhibition entitled ‘Berlin Pillar of Art’ to be held in June. I was rather pleased to be told that my entry had been accepted. The image was taken back in January in Australia during a photo session with ‘J’.
The exhibition showcases the work of a group of 16 international artists on the 14 foot high pillars that stand in the districts of Berlin Mitte and Prenzlauer Berg. Normally the pillars are used for advertising space, and they will be used as art space instead during the International Design Festival. This has been promoted through a brilliant group called Art Below that operate out of London, where they regularly convert advertising space into art space in the London underground. At some stage I do plan to exhibit there as well.

Must not forget to give acknowledgement to J – it’s not every day that you find yourself posted up on a 14 foot high pillar in berlin…nude! Thanks so much – big hugs.
