It’s quite simple, really.
Lead with a great profile picture because after your headline, that’s where the eyeballs go!
I’ve been ramping up my LinkedIn efforts lately, in reaching out to new connections, posting content and adding to the conversation.
I knew that before getting too carried away with all that I needed to make sure my profile was in good order.
Efforts ensued, and now, it’s looking pretty sharp.
So that when people see me in the news thread, and eventually decide to click on over and find out more about me, there I am front and centre, looking professional.
The cornerstone to that, of course, is having a great portrait photo.
I can’t tell you how many rubbish profile pictures I see.
I know these people are actually professional and really, really good at what they do.
But gee, are they lacking in skills on how to present themselves.
I want to share with you today a 2 mins time-lapse that really shows how awesome portraits can end up.
The video you see here was captured as I worked over Iain Enticott’s profile pictures. In just two minutes, his raw photos come to life and really shine!
Have a look:
Thanks Iain Enticott, for being today’s guinea pig!
All pictures were reworked inside my preferred program, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom.
